Navy apprehends 7 local fishermen engaged in illegal fishing
 

Naval personnel attached to SLNS Vijayaba located in Nilaweli in the Eastern Naval Command arrested 7 local fishermen with a Fiber Glass Dingy and a Monofilament Net while fishing illegally in the seas off Kumburupiddi yesterday (6). The arrested persons along with the boat were produced to the Kuchchaweli Police for onward action.
