Inter Command Cricket Championship - 2016
 

The inter command Cricket tournament - 2016 was held at the sports ground of Naval and Maritime Academy from 20^th to 26^th June 2016 with the participation of all commands of the Sri Lanka Navy. Commander Eastern Naval Area, Rear Admiral Travis Sinniah, as the Chief Guest, graced the final of the tournament in which 9 men's teams and 6 women's teams competed.

Southern Naval Command emerged champions in the men’s final, whereas the women’s team of Western Naval Command clinched the title in their final. The Best Player men and women awards were won by Chief Petty Officer, RM Jayasooriya from the Western Naval Command and Woman AB KMA Kaushalya from Southern Naval Command respectively.

The occasion was attended by a large number of junior and senior officers and sailors in the command.
