Navy extends hospitality to devotees of Kataragama foot Pilgrimage
 

Under the guidance of Commander Southeastern Naval Area, Commodore Sumith Weerasinghe, naval personnel attached to SLNS Mahanaga located in Panama extend their warm hospitality yesterday (21) towards the devotees who toil themselves in the traditional two month long foot Pilgrimage (Pada Yathra) from Jaffna to Kataragama. As part of the Navy’s gesture of generosity the pilgrims were provided with bottles of drinking water, food and medical facilities.
