Navy recovers 158 kg of cannabis in seas off Kankesanthurai
Naval personnel onboard P 422 patrol craft recovered 158 kg of Kerala Cannabis floating in Sri Lankan waters near the International Maritime Boundary Line North of Kankesanthrai yesterday (6). The Navy suspects that the haul of cannabis transferred from India, might have been abandoned when seen the approaching naval craft.
The haul of Kerala Cannabis was handed over to the Kankesanthurai Police Headquarters for further investigations.
