Navy continues to extend relief measures for flood victims
 

Continuously carrying out its relief measures for the flood victims, the Navy managed to rescue a total number of 22,675 people and transfer them to safe locations by this evening (21). Besides 106,520 number of people were provided with cooked meals & bottles of drinking water as well. Meanwhile 90 Boat Rescue Teams have still been deployed in Hanwella, Ranala, Nawagamuwa, Malwana, Kaduwela, Mulleriyawa, Dompe, Pugoda, Wellampitiya, Kolonnawa, Biyagama, Kotikawatta,Angoda, Kelanimulla, Kelaniya, Sedawatta, Weliwita,Tharala, Kohilawatta, and Wennawatta areas to engage in any adverse situation.
