Nine Indian fishermen arrested in Northern seas

Sri Lanka Navy assisted the Sri Lanka Coast Guard to arrest nine Indian fishermen along with an Indian fishing trawler poaching in Sri Lankan waters West of Analathiu Island on 7^th April 2016.

The arrested fishermen along with the fishing trawler will be handed over to the officials of the Department of Fisheries and Aquatic Resources of Jaffna for onward action.
