The Commander of the Navy, Vice Admiral Ravindra Wijegunaratne donated a three wheeler, from the “Naval Social Responsibility Fund”, to Leading Seaman Sunanda Jayalath a sailor who is attached to SLNS Pandukabaya, today (2) at the Naval Headquarters.

The child of the said sailor is down with a neurodevelopmental disorder in brain, and this donation will be an enormous relief for him in terms of taking the child to hospital for medication and treatment.

The Director General Services, Rear Admiral Eric Jayakody and Director Naval Welfare Commodore Rohan Gunawardana were also present at the event.
