Commanding Officer of JMSDF 22nd Squadron Fleet Air Wing 2, Fleet Air Force pays a courtesy call on Commander of the Navy
 

The Commanding Officer of the 22^nd Squadron Fleet Air Wing 2, Fleet Air Force of the Japan Maritime Self Defence Force (JMSDF), Commander Takahiro Yamshita paid a courtesy call on the Commander of the Sri Lanka Navy, Vice Admiral Ravindra Wijegunaratne at the Naval Headquarters in Colombo on 03^rd February 2016.

They held cordial discussions on matters of mutual interest and the planned arrival of two JMSDF aircraft at the Bandaranaike International Airport enroute to take part in anti-piracy operations in the seas off Somalia and the Gulf of Aden. Mementos were also exchanged to mark the occasion.
