Nine Indian fishermen arrested in Sri Lankan waters

Sri Lanka Navy assisted the Sri Lanka Coast Guard to arrest nine Indian fishermen along with two Indian fishing trawlers poaching in Sri Lankan waters North West of Analative Island on 30^th January 2016.

The arrested fishermen along with the trawlers were handed over to the officials of the Department of Fisheries and Aquatic Resources of Kankasanthurai for onward action.
