Newly appointed Commander Combined Task Force 151 calls on the Chief of Staff of the Navy
 

The newly appointed Commander of the Combined Task Force 151 (CTF 151) Commodore Zahid Ilyas the Pakistan Navy visited the SLN Headquarters on 27^th January 2016. On behalf of the Commander of the Sri Lanka Navy, Vice Admiral Ravindra Wigegunaratne, he was met by the Chief of Staff of the Navy, Rear Admiral Sirimewan Ranasinghe

Commodore Ilyas is in Sri Lanka as part of key leadership engagement to enhance cooperation through direct interaction with senior naval leadership and defence officials of regional countries. He was accompanied by the Defence Advisor of the Pakistan High Commission in Sri Lanka, Colonel Muhammad Rajil Irshad Khan. Mementos were also exchanged to mark the occasion.
