Three Indian fishermen arrested for poaching in Sri Lankan waters
 

Sri Lanka Navy assisted the Sri Lanka Coast Guard to arrest three Indian fishermen along with a fishing trawler poaching in Sri Lankan waters North-West of Kareinagar on 16th January 2016. The arrested fishermen were brought to Kankasanthurai and will be handed over to the officials of the Department of Fisheries and Aquatic Resources (Jaffna) for onward action.
