Ten Indian fishermen arrested for poaching in Sri Lankan waters

Sri Lanka Navy assisted the Sri Lanka Coast Guard to arrest ten Indian fishermen along with an Indian fishing trawler poaching in Sri Lankan waters east of Point Pedro on 09th December 2015.

The arrested fishermen were brought to Karainagar along with the trawler and handed over to the officials of the Department of Fisheries and Aquatic Resources (Jaffna) for onward action.
