Northern Naval Command conducts a blood donation campaign in view of SLN’s 65th anniversary

A special blood donation campaign was held at the Northern Naval Command Hospital in Kankesanturai on 2nd December 2015 in view of the 65th anniversary of the Sri Lanka Navy.

Over 250 naval personnel attached to the shore establishments, ships and craft under the Northern Naval Command voluntarily donated blood at the campaign organized under the guidance of the Commander Northern Naval Area, Rear Admiral Piyal de Silva. The staff of the Jaffna Teaching Hospital also rendered their assistance to this meritorious act organized to replenish the Blood Bank at the Jaffna Hospital and help save the lives of patients residing in the North.
