Joint Christian Commemoration & Thanksgiving Service held in view of 65th Navy anniversary

Sri Lanka Navy held a Joint Christian Commemoration and Thanksgiving Service at St. Lucia’s Cathedral in Colombo on 01st December in view of its 65th anniversary under the patronage of the Commander of the Navy, Vice Admiral Ravindra Wijegunaratne. Blessings were invoked on the Navy and the naval personnel during the religious service conducted by the Auxiliary Bishop of Colombo, the Most Rev. Dr. Emmanuel Fernando. Several former Navy Commanders, the President of the Navy Christian Council, Rear Admiral Neil Rosayro, the Commander Western Naval Area, Rear Admiral Jayantha De Silva, retired and serving senior naval officers and a large number of naval personnel also attended the service.
