Navy brings a patient who was onboard a fishing vessel ashore for medical treatment

On receipt of information from the Department of Fisheries and Aquatic Resources, Sri Lanka Navy immediately dispatched a naval craft on 16th November 2015 to assist a patient onboard a fishing trawler named 'Oshani 1' which was at 65 nautical miles east of Trincomalee.

The patient, who had been suffering from a severe chest pain, was brought to Trincomalee Harbour onboard the naval craft and transferred to General Hospital Trincomalee for further treatment.
