Inter-Command Tug of War Tournament 2015

The Inter-Command Tug of War Tournament 2015 was held at the NMA Hockey Ground, Trincomalee on 06^th and 07^th November 2015.

Seven men’s teams and 04 women’s teams representing the respective Naval Commands took part in the tournament organized by the Sri Lanka Navy Tug of War Pool. The Afloat Command emerged men’s champions while the Western Naval Command became the runners-up. The women’s championship was won by the North Central Naval Command.

The Deputy Chief of Staff and Commander Eastern Naval Area, Rear Admiral Neil Rosayro was the Chief Guest at the Prize Awarding Ceremony. The Commandant Naval and Maritime Academy, Commodore Nanadana Jayaratne, senior and junior officers and sailors of the Eastern Naval Command, men and women competitors representing respective Naval Commands and a large number of spectators were also present on the occasion.
