Inter Command Basketball Championship - 2015

The inter command basketball tournament - 2015 was held at SLNS Barana in Mullikulam from 12th to 17th October 2015 with the participation of all commands of the Sri Lanka Navy. The finals of men and women were held on 17th October and the Commander North Western Naval Area, Rear Admiral Niraja Attygalle participated as the Chief Guest.

The Training Command became the men champions beating the Northern Naval Command and the North Central Naval Command won the women championship beating the Western Naval Command. The Best Basketball Player men and women awards were won by Midshipman UB Ediriweera from the Training Command and Woman AB WDW Perera from the North Central Naval Command respectively.  

The Chairman of the Sri Lanka Navy Basketball Pool, Captain Harindra Ekanayake was also present on the occasion.
