Litro Gas provides Rs. 100,000 /= sponsorship to Navy Triathlon

Litro Gas Lanka Ltd, the largest importer and supplier of LP Gas in Sri Lanka, has come forward to sponsor the Navy Cup Triathlon Championship 2015 by providing Rs. 100,000.00. Whilst appreciating the efforts made by the Sri Lanka Navy to uplift the sport skills in Sri Lanka, the cheque was handed over to the Commander of the Navy, Vice Admiral Ravindra Wijegunaratne at the Naval Headquarters on 25^th September 2015 by the Director (Sales and Marketing) Litro Gas Mr. Chaminda Ediriwickrama, extending the best wishes of the company for the Navy’s efforts in uplifting sports. The Senior Manager (Commercial) Litro Gas Mr. Prabath Widanagamage was also present on the occasion.

Sri Lanka Navy has made arrangements to conduct the triathlon championship on 01^st November 2015 with the participation of hundreds of male and female athletes representing the tri-services, clubs and schools.

The competition, which has a wide range of attractive prizes on offer, starts with a swimming event at Dickowita fishery harbour followed by cycling and running events up to Uswetakeiyawa.

Sri Lanka Navy being the organizer extends its fullest assistance to all athletes to make its first ever triathlon championship a grand success in order to popularize the existing sporting event which has immense potential to nurture local talents.
