Director of the U.S. Navy’s Strategy and Policy Division calls on Commander of the Navy

Director of the U.S. Navy’s Strategy and Policy Division (OPNAV N51), Rear Admiral William McQuilkin paid a courtesy call on Commander of the Navy Vice Admiral Ravindra Wijegunaratne at the Naval Headquarters in Colombo on 25th August 2015. Rear Admiral McQuilkin arrived in Sri Lanka to attend the International Research Conference – 2015 which is scheduled to be held at Kotelawala Defence University on 27th and 28th August 2015.

The Commander of the Navy extended warm welcome to the visiting Rear Admiral and held cordial discussion on matters of mutual interest and bilateral importance. Amidst the discussion, Rear Admiral McQuilkin conveyed his best wishes to Vice Admiral Wijegunaratne on his new appointment.

Mementos also were exchanged to mark the occasion.
