Commander of the Navy pays a courtesy call on Chief of Defence Staff

The newly appointed Commander of the Navy Vice Admiral Ravindra Wijegunaratne paid a courtesy call on the Chief of Defence Staff Air Chief Marshal Kolitha Gunatilleke at the Office of the CDS on 16th July 2015.

Upon meeting the CDS and the Commander of the Navy held a discussion on range of topics pledging fullest co-operation between the two ends, and the CDS took this opportunity to convey his best wishes to Vice Admiral Wijegunaratne on his new appointment.

Mementos were also exchanged between them to mark the occasion.
