The newly appointed Commander of the Army, Lieutenant General Chrisantha De Silva, paid a courtesy call on the Commander of the Navy, Vice Admiral Jayantha Perera at the Naval Headquarters in Colombo on 16th March 2015.

In a closely contested tussle for supremacy, the defending champions, Navy Sports Club, beat Kandy Sports Club 12 - 11 in their Dialog "A" Division Rugby League 2nd round final match, which was worked off at Nittawela on 15th March 2015.
