Navy Sports Club beat CH&FC Sports Club 24 – 08 in their Dialog Inter-club 'A' division league rugby match, which was worked off at the Welisara Navy Grounds on 29th November 2014.

First Lady, Madam Shiranthi Wickramasinghe Rajapaksa, Mrs. Shalika Perera, Chief of Staff of the Navy Rear Admiral Ravindra Wijegunaratne, Commander Western Naval Area, Rear Admiral Dayananda Nanayakkara and senior naval officers were among the spectators who came to witness the match. Navy scored 03 tries, 03 conversions and a penalty while CH&FC scored 01 tries and 01 penalty in reply.
