Navy wins Open Rowing Championship
 

Sri Lanka Navy won the championship (male) and emerged runners-up (female) in the open category at the 29^th National Rowing Championship. The competition was held at the Diyawanna Oya from 26^th June to 28^th June 2014 with the participation of 300 local competitors representing tri-services, sports club and schools in the island.
