Commander of the Navy visits Western Naval Command HQ
 

Commander of the Navy, Vice Admiral Jayanath Colombage visited the Western Naval Command Headquarters on 26^th June 2014. On arrival, he was accorded a Guard of Honour and was received by Commander Western Naval Area, Rear Admiral Sirimevan Ranasinghe.

Addressing the naval personnel and the civilian employees, the Navy Commander conveyed his appreciation of their dedication and commitment to duty during his tenure as their Commander. He commended their professionalism, discipline and integrity and called upon all to continue their loyal service to fulfill the mission entrusted to the Navy in the defence of the nation and the development of the country.
