Be a Maritime Professional - Commander of the Navy

CEO of CIMA Corporate Strategies, Mr. Aubyn Hill made a presentation on “Transforming Individual Ability to Team Capacity” at the NHQ Wardroom on 10^th June 2014. Commander of the Navy, Vice Admiral Jayanath Colombage and senior naval officers were also present on the occasion, which was attended by the naval officers attached to the NHQ and SLNS Parakrama.

Commander of the Navy addressing the gathering stressed the importance of becoming a maritime professional by building individual capacities through exposure to new technologies and innovative strategies. He thanked Mr. Hill for sharing his professional expertise with the Navy and stated that the Navy has a very good relationship with CIMA, which facilitates SLN officers to follow the certificate business accountancy course leading to CIMA Associate Membership. The presentation was one of many conducted for the benefit of the naval officers under the guidance of the Commander of the Navy, Vice Admiral Jayanath Colombage.
