Navy renders assistance to nab 02 suspects in possession of Kerala cannabis

The Navy has nabbed 02 suspects with 120g of Kerala cannabis, during a coordinated operation conducted with the Police in Pothkeni, Silawathura on 22^nd February 2020.

A group of naval personnel attached to the Northwestern Naval Command have searched 02 suspicious pedestrians, during a coordinated search operation conducted with the Silawathura Police in Pothkeni area. During further search, the raiding party managed to find 120g of Kerala cannabis in the possession of the suspects. Accordingly, they were taken into custody, along with cannabis.

The apprehended persons have been identified as residents of Mannar and Pandaraweli, aged 29. The Silawathura Police is conducting further investigation into the incident.
