Navy assists to apprehend three persons possessed Kerala Cannabis

The Navy in coordination with the Police Narcotics Division apprehended three persons with Kerala cannabis, during a raid carried out at Shanthipuram area in Mannar on 28^th January 2020.

As another step of Navy’s continuous drug prevention operations, Navy in coordination with Police Narcotics Division-Mannar conducted a raid at Shanthipuram area in Mannar and apprehended three(03) suspects with about 226g of Kerala cannabis. The apprehension was made while the suspects were on an attempt to sell the Kerala cannabis. The suspects were identified as residents of Mannar area aged between 24-30.

The apprehended suspects along with 226g of Kerala cannabis were handed over to Mannar Pollice for further investigation.
