Navy flood relief teams intensify operations amid adverse weather
Due to the heavy rainfall caused by adverse weather conditions affecting the island, several areas in the Western and Northwestern Provinces are experiencing flooding. To assist those impacted, 08 Navy flood relief teams have been dispatched to the Gampaha, Colombo and Puttalam districts, working in coordination with the Disaster Management Center (DMC).
